Micro-Impressions: Dororon Enma-kun Meeramera Ep. 1

I’m not going to lie—this is one weird show. It’s a remake of an anime from the 1970’s and while the art style has a retro vibe, it looks modern at the same time. Here’s the synopsis if you want to give it a quick read. On this episode we’re introduced to the cast. They’re a colorful bunch and it’s apparent from the first time you see granny swinging her boobs—this is no kid’s anime. If you didn’t pick up on that fact after that scene, I’m sure you will after you see Enma break a demons dick off, yup, I just said that. Overall I loved this episode, I’m going to watch this series all the way through. As long as the comedy stays good, I’ll be one happy customer. One last thing, Princess Yukiko can freeze me any day.
