Micro-Review: Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Episode 2

Apparently playing video games is a great way to make friends. Well, this explains why I have none. Seriously though, on “There’s No God in the Electric World” Yozora thinks playing Monster Hunter is a good way to make friends. The results are hilarious of course. She needs to make out with Sena already; their little fights are only bringing them closer. The second half of the episode is the best; Yozora and Sena get a little too engrossed in a dating game. I really enjoyed hearing them trash the first girl they met. By their twisted logic, nice girls are sluts.

Other Things To Note: There’s some mild ecchi undertones lurking beneath the surface, I love the Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko art style, and Kodaka’s accidental extortion of his classmates. (Rating: 4/5)
