Guess It Isn’t Worth The $50: Resident Evil Revelations Price Slashed to $39.99 Before it Hits Stores

Last week I wrote an article welcoming $50 handheld games with open arms–well Resident Evil Revelations no longer wants our sweet embrace ( extra money). Yes, Capcom has slashed the game’s price by $10 before it even hit stores. Is this a new trend, pre-launch price drops? Hopefully, in the meantime if you still want to throw a half Benjamin at a portable title, Sony Bend will gladly accept your advances.

    I know I don’t have a say in this and others may disagree, but I think we should never have to pay for more than $40 for a handheld game. I mean if a handheld game is going to be $50 I might as well save that money and spend an extra $10 or so for an actual console game.

    $40 is a sweet spot and I guess Capcom was pretty smart in bringing down the price to that point. It’ll definitely attract both RE fans as well as gamers in general who are looking for a reasonably-priced game.
