Forget Mass Effect 3, I have a date with Katy Perry and a copy of The Sims 3: Showtime. Don’t laugh, she is single after all–and a virtual version is just as good as the real thing, right? Seriously though, I’m picking up Mass Effect 3 (the sky is so blue right now), Street Fighter X Tekken, and Ridge Racer: Unbounded. This is a solid list, but one game sticks out (like a Katy Perry fan at a death metal concert). It’s Major League Baseball 2K12…. for the PS2! The PS2 is still a thing? Yikes, it’s hard to believe a console that came out when I was in middle school is still getting new games.

    BLADES OF TIME!!! Not enough words can express how much I’m looking forward to this one.Sims 3… meh. Never played the first Sims, but I did play Sims 2 rather extensively. Totally skipped Sims 3 because it didn’t have “University” and “Open for Business” type of expansions, which I thought were the most fun. Looking forward to Sims 4 instead.Mass Effect 3, well, that’s a given lol. Though I never played the first two, so I won’t be getting this third game right away. But I do know a friend who’s waiting in line for midnight release tonight. XDStreet Fighter x Tekken… If there’s anything I’ve learned about Capcom’s attempt at milking the cash cow with their fighters in recent years, then it’s the fact that I should wait for the “super” or “ultimate” edition that will come out within six months to a year from now. If all else, I’d rather look forward to Tekken x Street Fighter (by Namco).
