Today Sony announced that the Nico Nico app (it’s been available since December in Japan) will be making it’s way to the American PSN store. For all of you unfamiliar with the service it’s like a Japanese version of YouTube. It’s a cool app and I still use it daily on my imported PS Vita, but it seems like a slap in the face. Where’s the YouTube app? That’s the one app every PS Vita owner is clamoring for.
Hopefully Sony announces a YouTube app at E3 2012, and while they’re at it’s time to fix that poor excuse of a web browser. Yes, I’m still the same guy who called the PS Vita the best handheld ever, but let’s be honest here.
