Quick Reaction: Microsoft’s E3 2012 Conference ‘Too Easy’

Okay, so Microsoft’s E3 2012 press conference is over, and overall it was a tad on the boring side.

Smart Glass seems cool, but it won’t be able to compete with the Wii U. It can’t play full games, it just shows some info and you can watch movies and listen to music.

The highlight of the show for me was the Tomb Raider demo and Usher’s performance (Dance Central is the only Kinect game I truly enjoy). Seriously, they played it too safe, and it’s hard to get excited for a Nike Kinect game.

I liked the South Park stuff, and Halo 4 looked great. But South Park could turn out mediocre and Halo 4 doesn’t appeal to me.

If I had to rate this conference I’d give it a 6/10. Tell me your thoughts in the comments; did you enjoy the press conference?
