Medaka Box Episode 11 Micro-Review

Minor Spoilers Ahead

Well, it looks like Medaka Box is turning into Dragon Ball Z. Things are becoming somewhat cheesy, but this is what fans of the manga have clamored for since day one. So does Medaka’s version of a super saiyan succeed or fall flat on its face?

It succeeds in my opinion — it was exhilarating seeing a different side of Medaka. She isn’t as nice as she appears, and when you get down to it she’s really a bipolar sociopath (sounds like the perfect girlfriend). The only thing that let me down was that the little brat was spared—he needed to get broken in half. (Rating: 8/10)
