Rumor: Is This the New PS3?

Last week rumors hit the internet that Sony was cooking up a new PS3, again. Well, today Tecnoblog posted pictures of what looks like a redesigned PS3. This model appears to have a top loaded disc tray and a ribbed texture.

This is probably real since the slim PS3 also leaked before it was officially revealed by Sony. Now about the design — it’s hideous (if you already own a PS3 just save your money for the inevitable PS4), but this will undoubtedly make the console cheaper. Check out the pictures below.

    Hideous indeed! In fact, what brought on the reason for releasing yet another RE-design of the PS3?

    I still have the old fat PS3 that’s actually 90% backwards compatible with PSX and PS2 games; all the more reason for me to hold onto it for a little longer until the PS4 comes out.
