Hyouka Episode 20 Micro-Review

Minor Spoilers Ahead

Jeez, Hyouka is all over the place. One week I hate it and then the next week I semi-love it. This episode fares better than last week’s snooze fest. It ditches the school setting and standard formula.

Oreki and Chintanda get locked inside a shed on New Years. Maybe it was just the change of scenery or seeing these two in distress, but I really enjoyed this episode.

Although, all the sexual tension is starting to become seriously frustrating, this was a perfect opportunity to advance their relationship. They could have at least hugged to stay warm or something, sigh. Whatever, this was a good episode. (Rating: 8/10)
