Weekend Box Office: ‘The Possession’ Continues Its Reign of Terror (9/9/12)

The Possession is once again the #1 movie in America. Although, that’s nothing to be proud of considering that ticket sales were fairly weak across the board. It made $9.5 million, raising its total to 33.3 million. Meanwhile Lawless came in at #2 with 6 million, bringing it’s total to a solid 23 million.

The biggest flop of the week goes to The Words. The Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldan flick only grossed a pathetic 5 million in its opening weekend. See the full list below.
