Psycho-Pass Episode 20 Micro-Review

Major Spoilers Ahead

Last week’s cliffhanger implied that Akane would learn the truth behind the sibyl system, and that’s exactly what happens. Once again this sends Psycho-Pass in another direction. Meanwhile Kogami is closing in on Makishima.

I really enjoyed Akane’s internal struggle on this episode. She knows the system is wrong, but she feels like it’s necessary. The deal she struck with the system may be foreshadowing something, though. She agrees to bring Makishima in for Kogami’s safety. But what if Kogami kills Makishima? He would essentially be killing himself. That’s the direction I think we’re headed in.

Overall this was another great episode. Akane really took charge and I can’t wait to see how everything will end. There are two episodes left. (Rating: 8.5/10)
