Minor Spoilers Ahead
Ledo and Chamber are put to work. Meanwhile Amy continues to run around like a chicken with its head cutoff. Well, maybe not exactly, but she’s still running 80% of the time. But her running isn’t the theme of this episode. Ledo is trying to figure out why the people of Gargantia are so carefree.
This episode may have told us what Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet is really about. Ledo lives only to serve his military. He’s starting to realize that isn’t the best way to live. My favorite scene was when he started crying after hearing the flute. It shows that he isn’t as tough as he thinks. It also looks like he has some repressed memories. I can see where this is going, but I’ll stick with it anyway. (Rating: 7.5/10)
